Impact of health education on knowledge and attitude of self-breast examination among female nursing students

Background: Breast cancer is the most common among women and a leading cause of death worldwide, including in India. usually shows slow development rate, when it recognized early stages, successful treatment results can be achieved. self-examination screening option for young women. Health awareness programs on detection are cornerstones reducing morbidity mortality resulting from breast cancer. Objective: To assess impact health education knowledge attitude self-breast examination nursing students. Study Design: The present interventional study was conducted between September October 2019. Setting: This done 79 students tertiary care hospital situated central district Uttar Pradesh. Main Outcome Measures: self-reported pre-designed structured questionnaire used. It included three sections: 1. Sociodemographic profile 2. Knowledge regarding (SBE) 3. Attitude (SBE). scores were calculated divided into poor, average, good categories.
